Dear Future Church,
Hello there. I’m David “2.0” Burroughs II — founder of Futureverse Studios and Creative Culture Director for VIBE Church, a digital space for spirit-led creatives who know their Calling doesn’t end at enlightment to Salvation.
As a pastor’s kid from Southeast San Diego, I was raised in revival and refined by decades of Gospel and art. Over the years, I've realized that art is my pulpit - how I express faith, God, and Love. It’s both a discipline and divine language, transforming Messages into movements.
Create the Future™
At VIBE's genesis, I was given the essential logo and banners from leadership, along with creative freedom, and a minimalist lens to shape the church’s evolving identity. My role has been to organize the ministry's creative culture through the creative culture brand kit, and development of the VIBE Church App - a "proof of concept" for 21st-century church planting and digital onboarding.
I worked across Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and Odeum to develop these assets to embody the heart of a modern faith community. The experience represents a continuation of my own religious deconstruction and reconstruction journey, a way of contributing my creative and theological evolution to the next generation of church leadership.
