Through visual storytelling, music, Afrofuturism, and human-centered AI, he explores the relationship between who we are, what we've inherited, and who we're becoming.

Born and raised in the southeastern district of San Diego, California, David Burroughs II, professionally known as DAVID 2.0, is an interdisciplinary artist, creative director, musician, and digital griot whose work connects storytelling, cultural memory, and emerging technology.
With nearly two decades of experience spanning graphic design, music, digital media, and creative marketing, his work has evolved alongside the technologies reshaping how people create, communicate, and experience culture.
Rooted in the creative and cultural foundations of the early-2000s Nureau movement, his perspective draws from Afrofuturism, faith, independent artistry, and the transformative power of reinvention.
For DAVID 2.0, creativity is more than expression. It's a way of preserving what matters, interrogating what exists, and imagining what comes next.
