Now out-of-print, the associated album was certified platinum selling well over 980,000 copies.

2005 • Oak Park 92105

Bootleg CD-Rs, leaked links, and a chorus that later echoed into mainstream, made this double album's messaging a raw, visual memoir built from guerilla photography and family archives in the Oak Park community. I was responsible for creative direction, capturing, curating, and organizing content for the project's liner notes.

2015 • Steel Here

As part of Tisha Campbell-Martin’s 2015 music campaign, we were commissioned to design the cover art and billboard creative for her viral single “Steel Here,” which later gained spotlight on BET and the Steve Harvey Show. While the video unpacked her personal journey, my focus was building the single’s visual identity. Leaning into the title’s double meaning - still here and steel here - crafted a metallic, resilient, and alluring aesthetic that honored her strength and introduced her to a fresh, modern audience.

2020 • The Scholarly Sewist

The Scholarly Sewist is a lifestyle brand created in 2020 by Dr. Reka Barton, centering women of color in academia. As the digital marketing strategist and executive assistant to Dr. Barton, my responsibilities included creating a Shopify website, social media content calendar, Instagram content creation, Google Docs, and personal assistance. The role involves a strong sense of collaboration, adherence to brand guidelines, and guiding the customer journey. Notable projects include its ongoing publication series, "Manuscript Mixtapes".

2024 • Poetic Justice

Voices on the Inside by Poetic Justice is an interactive art installation that engages visitors via poetry, photography, and audio in conversations around mass incarceration, gender-based violence, poverty, addiction, and mental illness. The multimodal experience seeks to center humanity and expression, and is free to the public. As the hired creative, we provided digital assets for the exhibit, including print and digital interactive boards that played a pivotal role in the efficacy of the project's vision (i.e. bringing the voices of incarcerated women to the public). My work is used in physical installations and traveling workshops.

2025 • Southeast Sundays

In 2025, The Futureverse Collective released Southeast Sundays (Remixes) - a project that established their nostalgic base camp. It became the sonic neighborhood where listeners “live,” the narrative launch point for the stories the Collective is here to tell.

Unified, ensemble stands as a cultural powerhouse - a family forged over Time and space, creativity and calling, carrying the memory of where we've been into the momentum of where we’re going.
